'Being Human' Stars Tease Season Two! (omg!)

'Being Human' Stars Tease Season Two!

First, an apology. I am sorry that I did not conduct my interview with the stars of Being Human on camera because there was so much delightful ribbing between Sam Witwer, Meaghan Rath and Sam Huntington throughout our conversation, that I found myself cracking up all over again listening to the recording.

Alas, I effed up. And for that, I am sorry.

The good news is that in between their hilarious banter (which you will not find below for reasons of clarity and the fact that jokes rarely "read" as funny), all three stars spilled so many spoilers about the new season, you won't be disappointed!

Insider.com: Let's start with, what are you excited for people to see in season two?
Meaghan Rath: I am excited that people will finally see me in different outfits! I think everybody else is excited about that too because the main question I get on Twitter is, "When are you going to change outfits?" And this season, it's happening.
Sam Huntington: It's outfit city!
Meaghan: Sally gets addicted to possessing people and ...
Sam Witwer: are you authorized to say that?
Meaghan: Yes! It's in the promos. So because I possess people, I take their bodies and their outfits. So depending on who I take over, it's hit or miss on the outfits. Either way, it's new clothes.

Insider: What's the biggest "miss" outfit?
Sam Huntington: There are some really bad jeans. They're kind of rugged.
Meaghan: The outfit in the finale is really f***ing bad [laughs]. But acceptable by Sally's standards.

Insider: What excites you about Josh this season?
Sam Huntington: Josh goes through a lot of relatable, but very depressing things that I think people are going to find really emotional. It's cool for me because some of them really hit close to home. And I'm proud that I was able to take my own personal experiences and implement them with Josh.

Insider: By saying "personal experiences," are you confirming that you are actually a werewolf?
Sam Huntington: Yes. Correct. "Personal experiences" is very bad code for "werewolf."

Insider: What about Aidan, what excites you about his journey this year?
Sam Witwer: I like the flashbacks a lot this year. I always like the flashbacks, but this year they're a little more elaborate. We go to the 30s and World War I this year ? we drop in there a few times. The flashbacks get used a lot more this year and we learn all about who Aidan was before he started being Mr. Nice Guy. Some of his worst traits start coming out in modern day Aidan because he's forced to be around the vampires this season. And the more time he spends with them, the more those traits start to surface. He becomes the bad guy again.

Insider: Since he's taking over Bishop's mantle, is it safe to say that absolute power corrupts absolutely?
Sam Witwer: In his case, he's fighting against it the whole time -- and fighting a losing battle. It isn't necessarily a power thing as much as it is influence and confusing the right thing to do in any given situation. The entire vampire culture is really morally bankrupt by human standards, but there is a morality within that he favors over the human morality he's been trying to connect with.

Insider: What about Josh and Nora -- will we find out if she was turned despite losing the baby?
Sam Huntington: We pick up three weeks after the finale, with that depression still lingering. And beyond that, she's keeping the secret from me that she's been scratched. Nora's doing it to protect Josh and because she doesn't know if she really is one yet because I was only a half-wolf when I scratched her.

Insider: So when do we get our next full moon?
Sam Huntington: At the end of the first episode, so we'll find out at the end of tonight's episode and that kind of informs Josh's storyline this season. And it's extraordinarily depressing [laughs].
Meaghan: What's great for all of us with the first episode is that it sets the tone for each of our season-long trajectories. There's a conversation Aidan and Josh have in the first episode that is such a nice symbol for what this season is going to be. It's very poignant.

Insider: So much about Sally's journey in season one was about Danny -- what is her focus in season two?
Meaghan: When I heard about the trajectory of the character would be, I was so excited. She's dealing with the consequences of missing the door and what that means. Also, she grapples with the worry that she might not get another door. Does she stay here now? So because of that, she decides to experiment and push the limits a little bit.

Insider: What about the boys; what's your favorite thing about Sally this season?
Sam Witwer: That's easy. I love the fact that Sally's story starts out as what feels like a fun little side story and it's a Trojan horse for really deep stuff that comes later on in the season. It starts easily but spirals out of control in a really cool way.
Sam Huntington: I love that they've given Sally some balls this year. I really loved watching that because werewolves and vampires have kind of, for lack of a better word, been done to death -- but we haven't seen a lot of ghosts in pop culture and everything our writers thought of was so interesting. Nothing I ever could have imagined would have been as good as what the writers thought of.

Being Human premieres tonight at 9 p.m. on SyFy.
